| The Nailers Arms:- Whether you’re after a hand pulled cask ale, a cappuccino, a bar snack or a gastro delight; the Nailers Arms pulls it off with quirky character and in good humor. The Restaurant and Lounge bar boast an extensive menu which changes daily based on only the freshest ingredients, which are sourced daily. Recent delights have included corn fed chicken wrapped in Parma ham, wild salmon with creamed leeks and grilled asparagus, and fillet steak with mushroom ragout. For the less daring there is also a grill menu; which offers gigantic 120z Sirloin and Rib Eye steaks for a very reasonable £14, great with one of the homemade sauces on offer and the mouth watering chunky chips. A new Tapas menu, the first in Bromsgrove, has replaced traditional starters and has proved a huge success, offering diners the choice of one or more plates to start their meal or to share with friends; including pan fried scallops with sweet chili crème fraiche, Spanish Chorizo with roast peppers and potatoes and spicy crab cakes with homemade tomato chutney; all priced at £3.95 each or two for £6.50. To secure a table in the beautifully designed Restaurant it is recommended that you book in advance, particularly for a Friday or Saturday night or for the more traditional Sunday lunch which is served from 12 until 4. Weekday lunchtimes offer up some fantastic dishes; with delicious paninnis served up with crisp dressed salad and hot baguettes. An ever changing lunch time specials board is guaranteed to impress, with more traditional favorites like homemade fish pie and rump steak; although even these staple pub classics don’t escape the Nailers treatment, with fresh cod, wild salmon and king prawns combining for the fish pie, and the English rump being served up with roasted tomatoes on the vine at a fantastic £6.50. The Nailers Arms offers a fantastic venue for all occasions, whether it be a pint of Cask Ale in the Bar after a country walk with the dog, a drink in the luxurious lounge bar with friends, tapas in the beautiful garden, a fantastic Segafredo coffee on a Sunday morning with the paper or a meal with friends in the Restaurant.
