Barnt Green

Barnt Green is a village and civil parish in the district of Bromsgrove located South of Birmingham, with transport links from the M5 and M42, and by rail with the Cross-City Service from Birmingham to Lichfield.

The Village has always been a commuter Settlement as it originated from the development of the Birmingham and Gloucester Railway.

The Majority of the Village is a product of the 20th century with many of the houses being built in the 1940's and 1970's. There are a few shops in the village and a small park and St Andrews Primary School.

The village is close to the Lickey Hills, Upper Bittell Reservoir where the Sailing Club is located, there is also a Cricket Club, Sports Club and Choral Society.
