Edwardian Tea Room at Avoncroft Museum

by Nick

The Edwardian Tea Room, in it's period setting, is a lovely place to relax with friends or family and enjoy the scrumptious selection of cakes as well as the extensive menu.

We have just opened up an adjoining room, furnished with settees, which we are calling the coffee lounge!

The Tea Room uses fresh, local produce whenever possible, including produce from the Museum’s own period gardens.

Here are a few examples of what is on offer to tempt you…

Hot drinks, all Fairtrade & Ethical Tea Partnership
a selection of award winning loose leaf teas, a range of coffees from espresso to latte and luxury hot chocolate.

Cakes
a wide selection of homemade and traditional cakes, including gluten free.

Afternoon tea
cream teas, crumpets, Chelsea Tractors and other light snacks. (NEW! see below)

Lunches
including soup of the day, oven baked jacket potatoes, Avoncroft's seasonal ploughman’s lunches and quiche of the day

Sandwiches
D.I.Y. sandwiches, a fresh idea that ensures you have your sandwich exactly how you like it!

You can visit the Tea Room independently to the Museum during any of the tea room opening hours, except on busy event days.
