Expensive egg

We celebrated our mother's 93rd birthday at the French Hen today. The food was good, but to charge £9.00 for our mother's egg and few chips was unacceptable and they won't see us again.

waste of good money

On visiting your restaurant friday 16 sept I was not impressed with my evening out.

First off I ordered a bottle of french Merlot,the girl that bought it to the table just said Merlot and slammed it on the table an went quickly.

Then I ordered chicken breast with garlic cheese covered in tomatoes, the tomatoes tasted watered down and the chicken was not breast it was a leg with skin on.

Two other people in our party were also not happy with there meals,one having to much sauce in there mushroom crepe meal, and the other meal not hot enough.

Before I started this email I went on tripadvisor and found out it had changed hands what a surprise.

A lot of comments were on staff attitude being bad I agree with them all,plus I thought it looked grubby.
