Flavell family 1861

My wife's great grandmother Elizabeth Flavell was born in Bromsgrove in 1850, and in 1861, the census shows that her and her 3 sisters (11, 13, 16, 18) were all working as nailers. They lived at 55 Stourbridge Street at that time.

Another possible relative?
by: Caroline

I think I might be a relative of Elizabeth Flavell (I'm a grand daughter of Doreen Lewis) and would be very interested in finding out about this branch of the family, as I know almost nothing about it. If you have any more information you would be willing to share, please feel free to email me at caroline.lewis1@gmail.com.

Just found someone in my family tree whose family were nailmakers here in 1851 and 1861.
The family name was Liddell.

A Flavell descendant wanting to make contact
by: Babs

I have spotted the 1861 Census information put on this site by a Geoffrey Turner from Sheffield and think this Elizabeth Flavell Bc1850 in Bromsgrove may very well be an ancestor of mine too. I would be willing to receive an email on babscol@eastlink.ca if Geoffrey sees this comment and wishes to contact me.
