When was the above store & post office closed for housing,I once knew the owner's daughter (Christine)but I have forgotten her last name.this was in 1954/5.

There were 4 shops in Lickey End,one by the forest pub which was owned by the Wall family.

One in Alcester Rd,owned by Mrs Kings.

2 on Birmingham Rd owned by Mrs Wallace and Mrs Tilt...hope this helps
