Hidden treasure

Excellent food & service, good selection of wines for an Indian restaurant.

Good atmosphere, made to feel very welcome and the personal touch from management was appreciated.

The restaurant is hidden away on Kidderminster road, but worth finding and visiting for a truly exceptional evening.

Must be a mistake!

I visited this secluded place a few days ago with my wife after getting tired of my regular, ok fair enough the service was great yet the food lacked freshness and clarity and the naan breads were served warm to cold.

A posh restaurant but they should strive harder in the area where it matters most the food, i recommend they change the chef or something because i went to an indian restaurant yet received meals that tasted English.

Enjoyed meal, service a bit slow but appreciate busy evening, but it was worth the wait as you could taste the freshness and the love that went into the cooking. The staff were very helpful and informative, will definitely recommend to all.

After hearing a lot if good reviews from friends and family, I decided to visit for myself last Friday. Have to say it is truly exceptional, the food was superb and the service was five star. It was also nice to see an open fire, which along with the atmosphere created a memorable evening for both me and my partner.

Excellent meal and first class service, I was recommended the lassani gosth for my main course and was full of flavour, I would go as far as to say it was the best Indian I have tasted. would highly recommend any one who loves a good Indian.

Worth the visit!

Fresh and well cooked food and excellent service. It's a little gem hidden away on the Kidderminster rd.
I would recommend all to visit as this has def become my one and only curry house.

i visited this restaurant this weekend and I certainly was not pleased with the food quality and the very western atmosphere the restaurant portrays.

The staff were very friendly i will give them that but i did not go there with my family for a good 'natter and a laugh' with the waiters. i went there for a decent Indian and what i got was far from it, the curry was warm rather than hot and the biryani was just too greasy, my daughter felt ill when sshe got home.

In all, a pomp and show into hoodwinking customers outta their wallets and purses!

The Hidden Jewel of Bromsgrove!

Me and my girlfriend have been recommended Rilys of Bromsgrove by our family, who have been dinning there for the past couple of months. We finally decided to visit the restaurant last night. The only regret we have is that... Why didn't we discover this restaurant earlier! It is truly an jewel hidden away behind some old cottages on the kiddi road in Dodford. Not the the easiest place to find, but worth it!
My girlfriend... A fine fussy diner, who's not easy to please when it comes to food,She was absolutley amazed by the quality of the food and service. Credit to the staff who made our evening very enjoyable. Big thank you to Tom and julie for recommending Rilys.i just hope the stardard don't slip away like other restaurant in Bromsgrove. If you hav'nt dicovered Rilys yet... Do so! Your in for a pleasant suprise. Can't wait for our next visit.

Last weekend I went for a meal Rilys after good things, have to say it was worth the visit.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food did take longer then other places, but it was worth the wait. Would recommend for all to visit.

Reading other peoples comments I have to say it don't sound like the same place I visited.

Just hot air!

My family and i had a meal there few weeks back, i have to say for a relatively new restaurant they should try harder with food quality and less on the friendly chit chat charm!

The menu seemed very bland and evasive from what the restaurant actually is which is Indian for those of my fellow diners who are not aware of this fact.

Will be sticking to my local from now on !!

Had my first visit there last night after my friends told me about it, got to say it was worth the visit and I will def go back again. Nice venue, attentive staff and interesting menu. The real open fire creates a beautiful atmosphere.

Best in town

Been to this venue a few times, the service and food has always been exceptional. The team always make you feel welcome and are always willing to help. I have tried the many of the others near by and this is by far the best. I would recommend for all to go and visit.

If you like fish, try the sahi machli jul, WOW!!!

Claimed quality Restaurant not justified

Quality of Biriyani very poor, lamb tough, dry and lacked flavour.

Atmosphere not great 'not very Indian', music very Westernised.

Service was good but rest of it was not.
