i think the art cafe is really nice lovely pictures and art work and lovely food and they have good amount of food there i recommend people to go if they want good quality food at a good price. so when you have time go visit they are always happy to see new people pop in and have a coffee, buy paints and have some food.

Lovely place

A nice coffee house with a very welcoming feel. The menu is limited but the quality of the food is very good. The artwork and the atmosphere is neither cheap nor tacky. There is a great choice of both modern and classic pieces with a good quality framing service which we have used many times. The staff are fantastic and are always very pleasant.

Better quality elsewhere

Strange place - neither a proper coffee shop nor a place for real art. All a bit tacky-looking too. Shame to waste your money there... For better quality coffee, food and service go to the Plaza coffee house - next door but one, in the corner of the same square - the staff and the decor are also much nicer! For better quality art and picture-framing, go see the good people at Artyfacts, back up the high street past The Strand.
